Soil type and pH coniferous forest

In this task you will need a soil pH test kit, a spade and some gloves.

Dig a small patch in a coniferousforest near you and analyse it's pH value. Measure the soil composition, is it soft? is it grainy? is it rich?

How does this soil differ from the soil you collected at the decidious forest?
